Going bananas….. and avocadoes…

Happy Tuesday out there 🌊 it's a perfect day to begin with a quiet beach walk, then back to the Harmony Gardens kitchen for some more recipe development.

Today's recipe is perfect for using up any bananas and avocadoes that may be coming up to their use-by date.

This recipe has lots of variations, so you can make your own unique, preferred flavour.

It is full of:

✅️ anti-oxidants

✅️ potassium

✅️ B vitamins

✅️ omega acids

✅️ vitamin E

It is quick, easy, delicious and very cost-effective!

Place 1-2 bananas, and 1/2 - 1 avocado into a mixing bowl or blender, with a good squeeze of lemon juice.

Add 1/2 - 1 tablespoon of your choice of superfoods such as:

⭐️ Maca powder

⭐️ hemp protein powder

⭐️ collagen powder

⭐️ spirulina powder

Add your choice of flavour, such as:

🌻 fruit powder

🌻 carob

🌻 golden paste

Add your choice of sweetener, eg honey / maple syrup / agave syrup / rice bran syrup

Blend together until smooth and silky.

Turn into ramekins and chill in the freezer for a couple of hours.

You can top with:

- toasted coconut

- toasted seeds eg hemp seeds, sesame seeds

- chopped nuts

Great for breakfast, dessert, morning / afternoon tea.... in fact, great for any time!
